About the event
Philadelphia’s creatives are coming together for a night built around raw emotion, storytelling, rhythm, and live artistic expression. Poetry Jam is more than just entertainment, it’s a full experience curated to spotlight powerful voices, live performances, and community energy in one room.
The night begins with live DJ vibes from 7PM–8PM, creating the perfect atmosphere for networking, conversations, and settling into the space. From 8PM–8:30PM, a live dance performance will take over the room, bringing movement and energy before the poetry begins.
From 8:30PM until around 10:30PM, the stage belongs to 10 featured poets delivering spoken word performances throughout the night with short intermissions in between sets. Expect a mix of vulnerability, passion, storytelling, humor, truth, love, pain, confidence, and creative expression from some of the city’s most talented voices.
To close the night out, the final half hour transitions back into music, vibes, and community connection.
